{"id":1638,"date":"2026-02-12T08:56:51","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T08:56:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/solutec-construccion.es\/desarrollo\/solutec-begins-refurbishment-works-on-a-new-logistics-platform-in-getafe-for-bigmat"},"modified":"2026-05-11T09:54:02","modified_gmt":"2026-05-11T09:54:02","slug":"solutec-begins-refurbishment-works-on-a-new-logistics-platform-in-getafe-for-bigmat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/solutec-construccion.es\/en\/solutec-begins-refurbishment-works-on-a-new-logistics-platform-in-getafe-for-bigmat","title":{"rendered":"SOLUTEC begins refurbishment works on a new logistics platform in Getafe for BigMat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">We are pleased to announce an agreement with BigMat, a leading distribution group for construction and renovation materials, under which we have just started the refurbishment of a warehouse located in the \u201cLas Mezquitas\u201d Industrial Estate in Getafe (Madrid), with the aim of optimising its operations and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The project for BigMat at its new logistics platform consists of a comprehensive remodelling of the existing warehouse, designed to raise the property\u2019s operational and safety standards, as well as to create a new Drive-In area so that customers can make their purchases more quickly and easily, without having to enter the store. The main works are divided into two areas:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">1. Optimisation of outdoor areas and access points:<br\/><br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fInstallation of new ramps and gates to speed up loading and unloading.<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fReconfiguration and upgrading of access to the plot, ensuring smoother traffic flow.<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fConstruction of a new control booth to improve site security.<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fFull refurbishment of the truck yard, adapting it to the needs of modern fleets.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">2. Modernisation of indoor facilities: <br\/><br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fImprovement of the plumbing and drainage network.<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fComplete upgrade of electrical and lighting systems.<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fImplementation of advanced HVAC and ventilation solutions.<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0fUpgrade of Fire Protection systems (PCI), in compliance with the most stringent current regulations.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The works are already underway and are progressing according to the planned schedule, with delivery of the fully operational warehouse expected between April and May of this year.
