Adapting roofs for RSCIEI compliance

Does the warehouse roof fail to meet RSCIEI criteria? In this project, our technical team managed the opening of apertures in an industrial roof to install new smoke vents and bring the warehouse into RSCIEI compliance. This is a full-scale structural surgery operation that impacts the watertightness and safety of the most valuable asset. An error in load calculations or poor finishing on the smoke vent curbs can turn a regulatory improvement into a chronic problem of leaks and structural risks.
At SOLUTEC, we understand that adaptation to the Fire Safety Regulations for Industrial Buildings (RSCIEI) must be approached from an engineering perspective. Therefore, our methodology begins with a rigorous feasibility analysis that ensures every purlin reinforcement and every new opening respects the integrity of the building. We do not just install smoke evacuation systems; we design compartmentalization solutions that optimize the warehouse’s aerodynamic capacity, specifically engineered to facilitate new industrial implementations without technical surprises.
This comprehensive vision allows us to execute works with high-precision technical coordination, designed so that production or logistics activities do not stop. Upon completion, the result is not just a warehouse that complies with legislation, but a revalued asset with a total guarantee of watertightness, fully prepared for future operational demands.
