We recently took on the challenge of fully refurbishing and waterproofing the roof of a fully operational logistics asset in the La Garena Industrial Estate in Alcalá de Henares. Our client—whom we have already delivered several projects for—wanted to put an end to leakage issues, protect their CAPEX and, above all, not lose a single euro to operational downtime.
This is how we achieved it at SOLUTEC:
▪️Phased, surgical planning: We designed the workflows so as not to interfere at any time with truck traffic, loading bays or internal activity.
▪️Comprehensive diagnosis and preparation: We adapted the existing substrate and meticulously treated critical points (skylights, parapets and service penetrations).
▪️High-resistance waterproofing with bituminous membrane: We chose a high-performance bituminous system, ideal for ensuring maximum durability and watertightness under demanding weather conditions.
▪️Efficient execution and technical sealing: Our specialist team carried out the overlaps and torch-welded sealing of the bituminous membrane at a steady pace, optimising installation times without compromising safety or quality.
The result:
A fully renewed technical roof, with a long-term watertightness guarantee, delivered in record time and with ZERO impact on the client’s revenue and day-to-day performance.
Proud to have a great team and the trust of leading operators, giving us the opportunity to take on projects of this scale.
